The Gouldian finch nest is a simple nest box for Gouldian finches, with a lid that you lift off completely.
It is a low, lying box with a round entrance hole at the front. At the back there are two small holes: through them you can look inside without opening the box, and you can also use them to hang it up.
The lid is not fixed. It simply rests on top and you lift it off in one go: the whole box is then open to check, ring or clean. Afterwards you just put it back.
