The Lovebird nest box large no.2 is an elongated nest box for lovebirds that you slide into the top left corner of the cage. It fits in the Breeding cage with nest and in breeding cages with a front that has an open corner.
Inside there is a partition: the bird comes in through the entrance hole and first has to go behind it to reach the nest. The eggs and chicks lie out of sight and it stays calm, even when there is movement in the cage. A round nest bowl is worked into the floor.
With the knob on the outside you pull the box half out of the cage. Then you open the flap on top of the nest half and you can reach the nest straight away, without opening the cage or disturbing the pair.
