The Canary nest box in wire for normal nest is a nest box of galvanised wire with a plastic base, in which the ordinary plastic nest sits.
Because the box is open wirework, you can always see the nest without opening a door. Air and light reach the nest, whereas a closed box stays warmer and darker.
You hang it on the bars of the cage: inside the cage, or on the revolving door of the cage front, so the nest hangs outside and the space inside stays free.
